Katherine grew up on old Hollywood movie musicals and her mother's obsession for Barbra Streisand. She would spend days imitating Lina Lamont, Carol Burnett, and countless others.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Katherine attended Cardinal Carter Academy for The Arts as a Drama Major taking classes every day of the week for four years in Greek Theatre, Medieval Theatre, Commedia dell'Arte, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Sketch Comedy, Children's Theatre, Stage Combat, Directing, Divised Theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed, Epic Theatre, and much more. She even got the chance to tour Children's Theatre and abridged Shakespeare productions to schools who do not have easy access to performance. In addition, she was part of the school’s competitve Improv team.

She found a love of dance and choreography at Tandem Studios taking classes in every style available, and eventually starting teaching as well as choreographing professionally while in high school.

Katherine moved to New York to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts New Studio on Broadway for musical theatre where she obtained her BFA (Hons) in Drama. Throughout her time in school, she worked whenever possible: Spending her summer at Berkshire Theatre Group and Woodstock Playhouse, devising with The Piehole Collective at the New Ohio Theatre, and even making her Off-Broadway debut in Sleepy Hollow The Musical

Since September 2020, Katherine has been performing in and Rehearsal Director for the only long-running pandemic friendly show in NYC - VOYEUR: The Windows of Toulouse Lautrec. She is also a member of the company helping to bring Broadway back to NYC, performing weekly in Times Square with #TSQProject.

Katherine has performed and choreographed Off-Broadway, across New York City, Toronto, and The US at such venues as Radio City Music Hall, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Birdland, Berkshire Theatre Group, Woodstock Playhouse, Theatre Passe Muraille, Berkely Street Theatre, Toronto Fringe and won the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal as Lola in Damn Yankees.

One thing to note is you will never find a bigger theatre nerd. As such, Katherine keeps striving to MAKE THEATRE HAPPEN and pass on the legacy and stories of those who have made our hearts beat that much faster. That has taken many shapes and forms. Katherine is a Mult-Hyphentate Theatre-Maker. Those hyphens include: Choreographer, Swing, Rehearsal Director, Dance Captain, Director, Associate, Assistant, Producer, Hair Designer, Communications Manager, House Manager, Education Administrator & Teacher. Katherine is the Assistant to the Artistic Producer, Chilina Kennedy, of Eclipse Theatre Company and is also the Education Administrator of their Mentorship, Training and Opportunity Platform. In addition, Katherine is an Assistant with The Verdon/Fosse Legacy LLC, the Communications Manager of Superior Theatre Festival and has worked at Dance Lab New York under Broadway choreographer Josh Prince.

Katherine pinches herself daily of how proud her 12 year old self would be of her today. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunities in her life, and all the amazing people who continue to inspire her.
